Today was meant to be one of those simple mindless days going with mother to get some puja shopping done. This way I am meant to get into the puja festivities mood.... Well let me tell you, it was anything but enjoyable........
Left home and everything seemed normal until we hit the highway. Ofcourse mom needed to stop by the bank which is literally 20 minutes from home on Russel Street. Well it ended up taking 2 hours to get there, 20 minutes at the bank and then back on the highway. Another 3 hours brought us close to home. After 5 hours of blowing black stuff out of the nose and sitting in the afternoon heat........ we couldn't be happier to get back home. Oh on top of that the driver kept yelling at everyone on the road and when you are starving, it can get very frustrating.
Why the traffic, well everyone and their grand aunts seemed to be out today due to the strike yesterday and no one going anywhere and every road seems to have construction for some reason.
lets see what tomorrow's trip to the puja festivities have to offer. Can you tell I am really getting into the spirit?????????????????
