I finally managed to find some time to go and see the Damien Hirst exhibition at the Tate Modern In London, with a friend. Must say the exhibition is amazing and though I was mostly interested in seeing the preserved animals, I was amazed at all the paintings involving butterflies. However I think the highlight of the day was the diamond skull, called For The Love Of God. This is definitely worth seeing and if you are London, the show is on until September 9th, 2012, so you will have enough time. Though you should go early as it gets crowded in the afternoon. I was able to find some pics of the exhibition since we could not take any photos. Oh and I want that skull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This blog mostly covers my personal views and not those of anyone else. Its a part of my life and my living in various places around the world. Initially it was called the Calcutta / Kolkata experience, but as I only spend a short time there and moved, I have decided to change the name of the blog!
The simple, fun, exciting, easy, stressful, strange and anything else that comes with settling into and knowing new places !

Cant miss the Queens Jubilee celebrations if you are in London....
The whole country is celebrating and especially in London, you cant seem to go anywhere without seeing a thousand flags and everyone either partying or recovering from a hangover..... I went with friends for the boat show on the Thames, two days ago and I have to say I have never seem so many people in one place with so much pride for their country.... It was actually fun, despite the rainy day. Oh and the burger from the BBQ outside Tate modern was exceptionally good, or just maybe the 30 minute line and hunger made it taste even better. Anyway some pics to share... enjoy. Im off to Tate again today for a different show and looking forward to it.
Hermes Leather Forever Exhibition
Recently I had the chance to see the Hermes Leather Forever exhibition at Burlington Gardens, in London. I have to say it was a very interesting show and in addition to seeing craftsmen making some of their iconic products, I was very impressed by the lighting details. The lighting was so well done and emphasized so much of the intricate details that I was blown away.....
Anyway since they did not let us take pictures inside, here are a few of the Hermes Car, that I was able to take...
