The Visitors !

We get many visitors within our housing community but today's were a little different. See we have this small green patch in the middle of all the houses and apartment buildings in our small community and thanks to our overworked community secretary, the park patch now looks like a cross between a botanical garden and the Amazon rain forest.

This afternoon while doing nothing, I hear this oddly familiar noise and automatically I think its the damn mooing paperweight I just got from Switzerland, but a quick stepping out into the balcony confirmed its origin. See in the past when we came to Kolkata on vacation, I remember seeing cows walking around but in the past few years I haven't really seen any. From what I understood, cows had been removed from the streets of Kolkata. But today both the main community gates were open and much to our surprise, the whole family came in through the gates and into the green patch / park for some good eating :).

I cant really complain about them, it was a pleasant change from seeing cars outside all the time and they really didn't overstay their visit. Im beginning to think its our community secretary's cheap solution to getting the lawn mowed and trees trimmed to make the small patch park more usable. I wonder if they were paid well since we certainly pay well for the upkeep of the area. Anyway some pics of our visitors for your enjoyment.....
