VERY FIRST POST

Since this is my very first post, I will start by telling you a little about myself. After living in Africa and then the US, I have now been in India, Kolkata to be exact, since May 2010. The move was partly by choice and partly by fate...... I do miss my life in the places I have lived but I think this is a great time and opportunity in my life to experience something new :).

If you are reading this, be assured I am going to bore you a bit with my life but I will also try my best to write about the new, exciting and not so exciting part of moving to India. For the first week I will bring you up to speed by summarizing the last three and a half months and then update you on the rest as I go along.

hopefully both I and the readers will learn something new. My hope is for someone other than my friends and family to read this and feel free to comment and email me. I have never done a blog before but I think this is as good a time as any to start something new and fun :). If anyone out there reads this say hi :).
