Mexican food is one of my favorite but since Ive been in Kolkata, I have not been able to find a single place. Today much to my surprise, I found a Mexican restaurant and its quite close to where I live. The place is called Jalapeno and its right in Phulbagan right across the street from the police station.
The place looks good from the outside and not as in your face as some of the ones I have been to but unfortunately I didnt get a chance to taste the food today. Looking forward to going there within the next few days and will update everyone on what the Indian version of Mexican food the place has to offer.
Don't quite know if I should have any expectations yet.
my sympathies lie with you A. By month two of his stay in India doug wanted Mexican too and insisted on getting some tacos at Forum Mall, which needless to say tasted like papri chaat that had taken a wrong turn.
